One of the most popular ways to learn more about how others live healthier lifestyles is by watching youtube videos. There are plentiful of youtube videos that you can look up to get more tips on how to be more healthy, but I chose this video by Abigail St. John because she covered a couple of topics that I found to be important to discuss. Aside from that, her "a healthy day in my life" video included many of the tips included within the website. She discusses how she's been working more on her health and trying to figure out a workout routine that works for her which I found really important to mention because all of our bodies are different, so we should be following routines that work for us rather than what others do.
Another couple of reasons why I found Abigail's video to be extremely informative is that she included the groceries she purchased for the week and also included different recipes. She also mentioned that she states that she starts her mornings with a hot detox water that is helpful for boosting metabolism and weight loss. Abigail also mentions that she likes to plan out her schedule in a planner which is extremely helpful for staying on task and being motivated.
The last point I found important enough to share from Abigail St. Johns video was intuitive eating. Listed to the left is a video regarding what intuitive eating really is and who the eating pattern is best for. With social media being a huge influence on diet trends, it's important for individuals to educated themselves to understand how their body will react. Youtube Natache Océane interviews nutritionist Renee Mcgregor to explain what intuitive eating is and how it's correctly done. I found this video to be important for college students who tend to stress eat or eat out of boredom. The video includes tips on understanding their body, diet, and hunger better which prevents overeating and encourages healthy eating.
